Diana Silva is an integrated researcher of ProNutri, a Research group of CINTESIS.

She graduated in Nutrition, finished her Master in Clinical Nutrition and her Doctoral Studies in Food Consumption and Nutrition Sciences from the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences of the University of Porto (FCNAUP).

Diana Silva taught at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto until 2016, where she was a professor of the Department of Pediatrics.

She was involved in the project “Determination of gluten in commercial and home-made foods designed for provocation test”, jointly promoted by the Unit of Pediatric Gastroenterology of the Hospital of S. João and the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Porto.

She has published about 20 scientific articles, and has contributed greatly to the organization of scientific events in the field of Child Nutrition.

Currently, she works as a Nutritionist at the Integrated Pediatric Hospital of the Hospital Center of São João, coordinates the Unit of Clinical Nutrition of the Hospital Lusíadas Porto and is a Guest Assistant Professor of FCNAUP.
